No matter what your activity level or age, you can probably find something here at the Buckhorn Community Centre that fits your needs. We have ongoing fitness programs, including exercise, yoga, pickleball, volleyball, bean bag baseball, badminton, and more for all ages. Some of these activities run all year, and others are offered during specific time frames.

Participants are required to sign a participation waiver before starting any activity at the BCC. You can download the waiver here.

Participants are reminded to bring indoor shoes to change into to help keep our floors safe for everyone! Please do not wear scents to class as some people are sensitive.

Costs for these activities vary. You can find out more about each program through the links.

We encourage you to confirm with the program leader before attending as some classes are occasionally cancelled due to events at the BCC.

Join us for Chair Yoga on Tuesdays at 8am or Thursdays at 3pm all year. Drop in is $12 per class or you can get a 6 week pass for $78. Standing poses are offered with support of the chair. Pay as you go or purchase a pass. For more information, contact Michelle at 657-965-1770

Core & Yoga Flow Strengthen your core, enhance your balance, and flow with mindful movement in this invigorating yet grounding yoga class. We’ll begin with deep core activation exercises to build stability and strength, followed by balance-focused movements to improve coordination and focus. Our dynamic yoga flow will connect breath with movement, promoting flexibility, endurance, and fluidity. Throughout the practice, we’ll cultivate body awareness and mindfulness, helping you tune into your breath and movement with intention. The class will wind down with deep stretching to release tension and a guided relaxation to leave you feeling refreshed and centered.</p>
<p>Perfect for: Anyone looking to improve core strength, balance, flexibility, and overall mind-body connection.</p>
<p>Bring: A mat, towel or blanket, 2 Yoga blocks, yoga strap and water.<br />

Interval training for all levels combines strength training and aerobics. Drop ins are welcome there is a fee to participate. Pay as you go.

Join us to strengthen your mind and body with Pilates on Tuesdays from 10-am to 11am.  Registration required.
Senior's' Exercise Classes on Monday from 10:30am to 11:30am. Free drop-in.
Tai Chi takes place on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9:30 to 11:30am. Drop-ins welcome.
Drop in for Unisex Circuit Training, good for all levels on Fridays from 8:30am to 9:30am
Join us for Volleyball on Mondays and Wednesday evenings.  It's drop in for a minimal fee.

Fitness Room

  • The fitness room is open Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30 pm and some evenings. Please note that access may not be available during events and over the holidays.
  • A waiver must be signed before you use the equipment
  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult

You must be a member of the BCC to purchase the add-on of the Fitness Room. Please see us in the office to sign up.
